Presented by the Mays Landing Merchants Association, the 7th Annual South Jersey Wine and Food Festival is returning to serene Lake Lenape Park East in Mays Landing, on Saturday, September 23rd and Sunday, September 24th from 12:00PM to 5:00PM. Come out to meet some of South Jersey’s best wine makers and culinary personalities and sample their delicious creations! 

 

With the picturesque lake and the historic light house as the backdrop, this Fall festival allows attendees to dine on a vast array of local culinary and sample Garden State wines, grown right in our own backyard! In addition to the wine and food, attendees will be able to immerse themselves in live music, culinary demonstrations, as well as shop local craft and novelty vendors. The laid-back atmosphere of the South Jersey Wine and Food Festival sets the mood for a fantastic, relaxing day filled with food, wine and fun for the entire family.

Added to the itinerary this year, attendees will be able to vote for their favorite wines sampled at the festival, awarding the wineries with the distinction of Best Red, Best White and Best Overall. And, if you find wines that you really like, you can purchase them onsite! Better yet, if you can’t wait until you get home to drink it, you can uncork that bottle in our amazing wine garden nestled lake side that provides scenic views to compliment your favorite bottle!

 

The new site layout will create pop-up entertainment areas with diverse musical selections, creating a site plan more conducive to conversation and relaxation in the winery and vendor areas. In addition to the music, the Festival will have added an adult game zone featuring corn hole, Yardzee, giant “wine pong”, Connect 4, life-sized Jenga, lawn chess and checkers, dominoes, Foosball and good old ping pong! 

 

Tickets

General admission tickets are $30 in advance and $40 at the gate, which includes wine samples and a commemorative sampling glass. A limited number of VIP tickets will also be available for $50 in advance and $60 at the gate (if available). VIP includes wine samples, a commemorative sampling glass and lanyard, priority entrance at 11:00AM and reserved parking.

 

Designated Driver Tickets

This year, the Festival has added a $10 Designated Driver ticket which will allow you access to the Designated Driver tent and 4 complimentary non-alcoholic beverages throughout the day. Designated Driver tickets can be purchased at the gate only. Attendees under the age of 21, will be charged $10 at the gate and children 12 and under are FREE with a paying adult.

Parking

A limited number of parking spaces will be available on-site. There are two overflow parking options. Option 1: At the Municipal lot located on 13th Street, off of Rt. 50 (across from the Town Hall, at the turn for Lake Lenape Park East) Option 2: The J Lot of The Hamilton Mall (see image below) Shuttles will be provided to and from the festival.
